After my first 'wander along the Kerse', I was enchanted, and wanted to celebrate this beautiful place in a thoughtful illustration.
Adding hand-drawn nature motifs and botanicals from one of my popular fabric collections - Magical Meadow - such as spinning jennies, bluebells, dried seed heads, anemones (referenced from a very local garden!), fritillaries and a beautiful moth, I wrote the accompanying fun ditty to celebrate our beloved Kerse, in Lesmahagow.
If you're not local and you've never heard of this whimsical-sounding place, read more here. Please note, although the woodland is owned and managed by the Woodland Trust, the lodge and immediate grounds are privately owned.
The print itself is A4, UNMOUNTED, on slightly textured paper using eco-friendly inks. It ships in protective cellophane with a recycled cardboard backing. We're moving to biodegradable cellophane so bear with us on this <3
