Hello & welcome to my world of surface pattern design, art and illustration!
I'm Rebecca Johnstone, a surface pattern designer, illustrator, textile artist, writer and mother, with a first class honours degree in printed textiles from Heriot-Watt University in Galashiels, the Scottish Borders.
Based in rural Scotland, UK, I'm a dopamine-dresser, and a cold-water swimmer fuelled by tea.
A maximalist at heart, my designs are striking, spirited and confident, mixing bold colour and symmetry to create an eclectic, individual aesthetic.
And I LOVE art nouveau...
