A “giant lollipop” of colour

I love the vibrant vibe and attitude of this designer, Bethan Laura Wood.

Colours are a vibration of energy and light and she rocks her look as a ‘giant lollipop’.

Just like Bethan I am inspired by:

buttons and teapots and collage and scarves and florals and vivid prints, peacock brights and sparkle and vintage things and exuberance.

Why be beige when you can be AMAZING?

What about you?

Do you prefer a palette of muted tones or wild clashing colour?

Thanks for sharing that link Rebecca . It’s so good discovering new places to see inspiration or just great things. I love colour and I’m enjoying learning about colour as I explore my creativity, strangely though I tend to dress fairly neutral. Black, blue, grey, cream with a bit of teal, pink or orange thrown in the mix sometimes and my home is pretty neutral too with bursts of colour added in. I wonder if this will change the more I play.

I know what you mean about dressing quite neutral but using colour accents for a pop of added interest. I love teal, pink and orange and they also go nicely together! I definitely feel the difference in my energy when I use colour. January demands neon tights I think, and I don’t think we should be scared to experiment with colours and prints. I thought Bethan rocked it and we need lots more role models and doyennes of colour like her :)
